Question: What are some helpful hints when choosing your veneers?
Answer: When it comes to smile design, there are two important aspects concerning veneers that need to be addressed: their shape and their shade. We encourage patients to bring in pictures of actual smiles they like from photos, magazines, or photos of themselves when they were younger. We can analyze together what it is they find attractive about those smiles. A dentist can also hold up shade guides to the patient's mouth to see how various shades will look. It is best to do these things in an office setting with natural light, as fluorescent lights can altar the color a bit.
